On the 15th of Januari, the management of PicoPoint signed a long-term agreement with Bamboo telecom for the management of the backoffice activities of the 800 KM² WIMAX Internet backbone at the Costa Del Sol.

PicoPoint has been choosen by Bamboo Telecom not only for their profound knowledge of WIFI and WIMAX technology, but also for the flexible possibilities of PicoPoint's portal software Gatekeeper.

Bamboo telecom is the first telecom company in Europe commercializing a WIMAX Internet backbone, PicoPoint is therefore proud to be part of this unique milestone in the wireless community.
